  1. we are delighted that the Catalina is coming North. We run the local Heritage Centre at Alness and have a comprehensive collection of photos and stories from the men and women who worked and fought here during the War. We are veryexcited about seeing one of ‘our’ catalinas in the flesh. We just published a book on Alness at War three weeks ago with all the stories and photos we gathered in the past ten years.
